September 2023 We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop New Mini Catalog Highlights

Hello there! The We Bee Stamping Team is excited to bring you more inspiration through our monthly Blog Hop. This month we’re bringing you new mini catalog highlights and I chose to highlight the Rustic Crate bundle (#162268).

I’ve seen some questions about how the crate goes together so I’ve made a little cheat sheet (it’s not hard). You just need to fold the flaps forward and glue the front part of the crate onto them. They give the crate a thin space inside so you can insert whatever you’re putting in it. 🙂

Easy Peasy, right?

I chose to color my basket goodies using Stampin’ Write markers. Did you know that Stampin’ Write markers have just been revamped? They have new and improved tips.

This was my first-time coloring with the new style and I was pleasantly surprised! I’m usually a Stampin’ Blends (alcohol markers) girl, but I love that our Stampin’ Write markers can be used directly on our stamps. And, you can stamp the image outline with different kinds of ink and it won’t smear. I was able to stamp my image in Pecan Pie and color it in for this card. See, no smearing! 😉

The new Stampin’ Write markers color nice, don’t you think? Check out our new Deckled Circle dies (#162286) in this close-up pic too! Fun, right? And, didja see that gorgeous copper ribbon? Swoon! It looks great accented on top of the Natural Ribbon, so it’s awesome that they come as a combo pack (#162192).

I finished the card off with our In-Color Dots and some Metallic Enamel Effects Basics in gold. I really think these enamel effects get overlooked in the catalog. They’re quite a fun item to have in the craft room and they last a long time!
