Now, for our card today. It’s a Landscape Easel Card using the adorable Tune In bundle. This bundle is by far one of my favorites in our annual catalog. We made this card at our recent Shoebox Swap too. It was designed by Kayla Clark and put together by me.
I really like the whole concept of this card, and I will be making my own version of it soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that 👀
I love the way Kayla made the flap on the TV screen by taking a 2½x4 piece of Basic White CS, scoring it at 2″ on the long side then die-cutting it so the edge of the die-cut hangs over the fold keeping the fold intact.
Here’s how that’s done:
Just run it through your cutting machine as shown above.
TA DA!!! LOL!
And it folds nice and flat for mailing.
measurements
- Cardstock- Base: 5½ x 8½ scored at 2⅛ and 4¼. Plus, Scraps for die cuts
- DSP: (2) 1⅞ x 5¼
- Basic White: 2½ x 4
And that’s it! Super easy!
