Sketching with Friends Using Sketch #6 from Page 12 of the 2025 January-April Mini Catalog and New Paper!

Hello and welcome to another Sketching with Friends episode. Today we’re visiting Sketch #6 from page 12 of the January – April Mini catalog. Here’s our sketch.

And here’s my interpretation

Simple yet elegant and didja notice the two new In-Colors? Secret Sea and Cloud Cover. Now, I must be honest. I didn’t think I was going to like Secret Sea at all. I thought it was going to be so dark that I wouldn’t care for it. I was wrong. It’s rich and dreamy and such a great accent color. I love blue too, so it just really works for me. And Cloud Cover, again with the blue and I love it! Put these two together and Ooh La La! 💙 That new paper is gorgeous as well. It’s called Beautiful Gallery. It sure made my card come together in a snap.

I used Secret Sea ink to do my stamping too. Secret Sea, Cloud Cover and Beautiful Gallery will all be available on May 6th, 2025 when the new catalog goes live 🙂 And now let’s see what beautiful cards my friends have made with this sketch.
