Good morning! It’s no secret that I love making scene-type cards, so I usually purchase all the DSP (Designer Series Paper) that builds some type of scenery. Such is the case with our Enjoy the Journey DSP. It has beautiful scenery! The Rain or Shine DSP has adorable scenery too, but the Enjoy the Journey DSP is now an item you can choose FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 order!!! I don’t know about you, but I love “FREE”! LOL Just look at all those beautiful options!
The Rain or Shine Suite makes me giddy! I love all of the whimsical critters and fun die cuts. Just look at that adorable kite! I wanted my kite to be yellow but I didn’t want the string to be yellow, so I cut the kite base out on Basic White CS then colored the just the kite with my So Saffron Dark Stampin’ Blends leaving the string white.
Next, I added the Sweet Sorbet layer plus the bows. I love the way it turned out. The bottom of the stump was colored with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends and the grass is die cut from the Palms Dies. I’ve used that grass on many of my projects 🙂
Some Loose Daisy Embellishments and a cute li’l turtle inside finishes off the card and it’s ready for mailing.
