February 2023 We BEE Stamping Blog Hop Featuring Our Favorite Mini Bundle

Hello there! The We Bee Stamping Team is excited to bring you more inspiration through our monthly Blog Hop. This month we’re featuring our favorite Jan-Aug Mini Catalog Bundle. My hands-down favorite is the Rain or Shine Suite. I love the whimsical nature of it along with the vibrant colors. The dies are super cute too, just look at the details in the bridge, the stump and the grass.

I added soft suede ink onto the stump using one of my small blending brushes. I then added dimensionals to make it and the clouds pop on my card front. The hills and the water were cut free-hand using Pear Pizzazz and Balmy Blue Cardstock.

Check out the embossing on that paper! The images are outlined in black embossing and the rain is clear. I really think Stampin’ Up! outdid themselves with this paper!

I heat embossed the sentiment to make it match the paper. I just used my Memento ink and clear embossing powder. You have to work quickly when doing it this way because the Memento ink dries fast.

And since the sentiment says that Rainy Days are better with you, my turtle on the front needed a friend. Well, this little turtle friend inside has a tiny secret…

He was cut out of the edge of the DSP, so part of the flower and his legs were cut off, but waste-not, want-not, right? You can’t even tell he was cut off because of where he’s placed inside. Fun li’l tip/trick, don’t ya think?! I plan on salvaging as many of these adorable critters as I can 🙂
