Hello there. Today I pushed myself to do a little something different. I opted to make a Slimline card and I know I’m biased, but I’m really smitten by the way it turned out. I struggle with the long thin surface area so it’s a great feeling when it works out 🙂
Honestly, I think it’s even prettier in person, but you’ll just have to take my word for it.
I knew when I started that I wanted to stamp the flower kettle on DSP and color it. I was going through my dies to look for a shape that was different than a circle and I came across my Designer Tags Dies (online exclusive) that were, embarrassingly, collecting dust! 😧 I get so wrapped up in the new that the old stuff gets terribly overlooked. Do you do that too? I especially love this big label die because 1. It’s easy to stamp larger images on and 2. I love running my ribbon through it as seen. I also love that the white wood DSP from the Country Woods pack makes a great background. So many things to love about with this card.
A couple of strips of the country flowers DSP inside and it’s ready to go. This card will fit perfectly inside a #10 Business Envelope. I encourage you to try a slimline card for yourself today and maybe dust off some of your forgotten items and have a play!
As promised, here are my measurements for you.
