Butterfly Pop-Up Card with Video Tutorial and FREE Mechanism Template

Hello there! I hope you are all enjoying your Spring. We’ve had excellent weather here in Illinois and I’ve been taking advantage of it by riding my horses. I actually added one more to the herd 😲🐎 I have not been in my craft room very much at all, but I did attend a shoebox swap with some of my favorite demonstrators a couple weekends ago. I wanted to share one of the cards I made for it. It’s a really fun pop-up card with an easy-to-make mechanism that I have included a video tutorial and a free template for!

I designed the front of the card very simple so we could get to the fun stuff quickly. I used our specialty papers- Lovely & Beautiful and Bloom Boutique in strips of 1×4 and added a Gold Foil Bordered in Beauty Border.

I used Scalloped Blooms stamp set on the card above.

And Words and Wishes stamp set on this one. Both sentiments are die cut using the Words & Wishes dies.

The butterflies are from our All Aflutter bundle and colored with our In-Color Stampin’ Blends.
