Best Witches Corner Fold Card with Picture-Heavy Directions

Happy Monday!

Today I have a fun corner fold Halloween card for you made with the Best Witches stamp set.

Just look at her! Isn’t she cute?!

And the inside of that one. Side note: you see how there’s a square of Parakeet Party on the left side of this instead of the DSP showing through like above? Wellllllll, that would be because I put too much adhesive on the back of the DSP when I adhered it to the front of the card. So, I just added another square of Parakeet Party and no one would ever know if I hadn’t told on myself! LOL But, I learn from my mistakes and want to share what I learn with you 🙂

Ohhhh, and that frog! Soooo cuuuuuuute!!!

As promised, here are the directions.

 

Directions:

1. Parakeet Party Cardstock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″

2. Put the card base on the 3″ line on your trimmer along the 8½” side. Cut from the 2 1/2″ mark to the                    4 7/8″ mark.

         

3. Turn the card 1/4 turn to the right. Line up the edge on the 3″ line on your trimmer.  Cut from the 5/8″ mark          down to the 3″ mark on your trimmer.

       

The cut will look like this when you’re done:

4. Now flip the corner down and it should look like this 🙂

 

5. Inside is Basic White 4 x 5¼”. I stamped Best Witches and the frog then colored the frog before adhering it           inside the card.

6. Take a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) 4″ x 5 1/4″ and mark it 5/8″ from the upper left corner and 1¾”           up from the bottom left corner.

7. Cut diagonally from those two marks to get your DSP for both the front and inside that matches up when            the card is closed 🙂

8. Stamp the Witch onto a die cut Stitched Square from the Stylish Shapes dies. Color with blends and adhere          to the square on front.

9. Add a strip of Washi Tape across the bottom.

10. Punch a piece of Basic White with the Rectangular Postage punch. Stamp the saying and adhere over washi          tape with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then add Faux Sea Glass shapes to corners.
