Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I sure did. I’m still floating along on Cloud 9 about it! I went camping with both horses and both dogs by myself. Hubby was on a fishing trip so I met friends at a local park. The dogs and horses were very well behaved, and I got some much-needed time doing what I love most – trail riding. Camping is definitely a lot of work. I have to rest when I get home, LOL! Living in Illinois, however, I have to take advantage of the weather when it comes along because we never know when it’ll cooperate again! 😉 We hope to go again next weekend as a whole family, but we’ll see what the weather does 😉
Here’s camp along with our cute dogs 🙂
And here’s how we keep our horses at camp. They are tied to a rope above their heads – just in case you were wondering 😉
Onto my 2nd hobby love…cardmaking! After all, that’s why you’re here, right? I have a fun card for you today that was a big hit at class last week. We used the very popular Wanted to Say dies along with the Bright & Beautiful DSP to make a bright and cheery gift card holder.
I combined the gorgeous colors of Parakeet Party and Lemon Lolly for my greeting. The Wanted to Say dies have quickly become a favorite with my class attendees 🙂 We die-cut a balloon out of the DSP and attached some in-color twine to it so it could “float” over the top of the card.
Inside, we stamped the sentiment and made a pocket. The pocket was punched using our 2 3/8 circle punch.
Some close-ups:
And that’s it!
I hope you get time to craft today!
HAPPY STAMPING!
