Hello there! July has come and gone. I left for my Bucket List vacation out West on July 7th and ended up going MIA (blog-wise) after that! We had an absolutely amazing time. I got to scratch many things off my bucket list – The Badland, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil’s Tower and most importantly, riding horses in the mountains. Here is a pic of my favorite spot from the entire 11 days we were gone. It’s called Lake Geneva and it’s in the Cloud Peak Wilderness in the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. And that pretty gray horse is Butch Cassidy – my favorite mount of the week. <3 He was amazing! <3
The month flew right past me and all I seem to be doing is daydreaming about how to go back!
I finally got in the craft room this morning and I whipped up this adorable Trucking Along card that I CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) from createwithchristy on Instagram. I changed my card up a bit from hers with the colors and the dies I chose. Check it out.
The lines are from our Sketched Plaid background stamp and I did brush some Balmy Blue behind the truck and the trees along with some Smoky Slate under truck tires using our Blending Brushes, but it didn’t show up well in the pics.
The Trucking Along punch (which I didn’t use on this card) is not currently available, but you can get the stamp set right now. Stampin’ Up! is anticipating the punch to be back in stock in October. My guess is that it will sell out quickly again, so keep an eye out! The truck is very easy to fussy cut though, thankfully!
Here’s a look at how it opens and looks inside
Cute right? I’m going to make another one of these in Coastal Cabana soon. Stay tuned for that!
Thank you so much to Createwithchristy for helping me get my crafting mojo back!
HAPPY STAMPIN’!
