Hello Papercrafters! I have a fun and elegant project for you today! I call it a Triple Surprise Gift Box. My good friend Nancy Legate taught this project to me and was kind enough to give me her directions. I added a few layers to this particular one. Come on in. Grab yourself a beverage and check out my directions & video.
The cardstock is Evening Evergreen. It looks lighter than that in the pictures below.
I started with a 5¼”x 8½” piece of Evening Evergreen and scored it at 1¾” on each side. Then I cut out the corners.
Then I took a piece 2 13/16 x 6 1/16 Evening Evergreen that is scored at ½” on all 4 sides and miter the flaps on each side as shown
Next take (3) 4½ x 4½ scored at 1 ½” on all 4 sides of Evening Evergreen and Cut out corners leaving mitered strip on one side of each.
Next I had (3) 2 9/16 x 2 9/16 Evening Evergreen scored at ½” on each side and miter flaps on each side (see pic)
