I share my passion for stamps, ink & paper with a special flock of ladies called the “Stampin’ Stray Ducklings”. Whenever we’re together, feathers fly because of all the fun we have! Today, my feathered (or notsomuch! LOL) friends & I are featuring items from the new catalog.
I chose to make another Double Box Fun Fold similar to the one I posted HERE on April 30th.
These cards are so much fun to make and have I mentioned lately how much I like the Waves of Inspiration bundle?
I do!
I love it!
I started by using my Stamparatus to stamp the wave onto the white CS. I inked the wave up using Coastal Cabana ink then I dabbed Night of Navy ink randomly on top of the Coastal Cabana ink using my sponge daubers. Then I pressed the Stamparatus panel onto my Basic White CS. Viola! Two-toned wave!
I die-cut the wave outlines using Coastal Cabana & Basic White CS then I snipped them off so they would fit inside the boxes.
Cool huh?
The Pelican and posts were stamped in Soft Suede then colored with Watercolor Pencils and a blender pen.
I stamped the base of the sailboat in Soft Suede ink then punched it out. The sails are punched from our new DSPs, Tea Boutique & Sun Prints.
I added a panel on the back for writing a message to the recipient.
It folds nice and flat for mailing.
And it fits nicely into an A2 envelope!
