I share my passion for stamps, ink & paper with a special flock of ladies called the “Stampin’ Stray Ducklings”. Whenever we’re together, feathers fly because of all the fun we have! Today, my feathered (or notsomuch! LOL) friends & I are featuring the new mini catalog. I chose to make a bridge card using the new Oh Holy Night Suite with the Night Divine and Stars at Night bundles.
I started by taking a 4¼ x 11 piece of Night of Navy cardstock and scoring it at 1¼, 2½, 5½ & 6¾. I snipped the corners off using my Very Best Trio punch (have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE that punch???!!!) I added a piece of 2⅞ x 4⅛ Oh Holy Night DSP in the center between the 2 inside score lines then I die cut 2 stars from the Stars at Night dies – one in gold foil and one in More Dazzle and affixed them on top of the DSP.
I cut the building frame out in Thick Whisper White then I cut a second one out in Early Espresso. I layered the Espresso frame on top of the White frame to give it lots of support then I glued each side onto a side of the bridge card. I took a ½ x 3½ strip of crumb cake that I scored at ¼” on each side and glued it inside to create another layer to add the people. I took my scissors and snipped across the top of it to make it looks like it was slightly rolling then I added the silhouettes.

Back view – a bit more corner punching 😉
Didja notice that cool sign?
I stamped the sentiment with Gray Granite ink onto Shimmery White cardstock and cut it out with one of the Rustic Crate dies. I think it made a fantastic sign! What do you think? The camel was cut out of Crumb Cake and the donkey was cut out of Smoky Slate. I popped both up on dimensionals and added them to the flaps. The finishing touches were the Star Trinkets on the front.
And there you have it! Please make sure to check in with the rest of my duckling friends.

Thanks Linda. I use that punch all the time. No more plain square borders 🙂
