I have another nice and simple gift card holder for you today, but this time we’re using the Sale-A-Bration Trusty Tools paper that you can earn FREE through February 29, 2024 😀 This design is the same as my previous post- just with different paper. You can see that one HERE
I started with a 4¼ x 11 piece of Poppy Parade cardstock scored at 2¼ and 5½ on the long side.
I added a piece of the Trusty Tools DSP (Designer Series Paper) that measured 2×4 onto the 2¼” flap then notched it with my 1¾” circle punch before adhering it down with a line of tombow glue just at the top and bottom. I left the center open to enable a gift card to slide in and out. 🙂
I took a strip of 1×4¼” Poppy Parade and scored it at ½”. On the opposite end of the scored one, I punched it into a point using our Banners Pick a Punch. I glued the scored end to the back of the card- lining the seam of the score line up with the edge of the card then I added a ¾ x 3½ piece of DSP that had been pointed with the punch as well.
I stamped Happy Birthday in Poppy Parade ink onto a piece of Basic White CS that measured 4×5¼ using the Go To Greetings stamp set. I made sure it was stamped all the way on the left side so that when this card was closed you wouldn’t see it. Then I adhered it inside using snail over the area where the “belt” was adhered.
I added a piece of 3×4 Sunny Days DSP to the front. I stamped “Let’s Eat Cake” from the Heartfelt Hexagon bundle and punched it out adhering it to the front with dimensionals so that the “belt” would slide through it nicely. I finished it off by adding 3 Opaque Faceted Gems-which you can also earn FREE during Sale-A-Bration! 😉
There are only 10 days left of Sale-A-Bration! 😮 Don’t miss out on the FREEbies! 😀
