Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend. We didn’t do anything too exciting- just piddled around the house doing odds & ends and getting our horse camper ready for a camping trip this weekend. We are praying for good weather š
I have a nice, simple card for you today. I broke open my Coffee with Friends stamp set and had a go with it. The hardest part was coloring the image and that wasn’t hard at all with our Stampin’ Blends. Those markers sure are a game changer for me. I love how they blend smoothly on any image since they’re alcohol based. And, you can shade with them too, but you don’t have to. I did very little shading on this image.
I thought the circle design that’s part of the Bright & Beautiful 6×6 DSP pack would lend itself well to this friends stamp. I also decided to use the Splatters embossing folder for a strip across the middle to give it some added texture (correlation – coffee/splatter, get it?! LOL). Have you seen the ribbon in the Ribbon Duo combo pack? They are awesome with their cute white stripes woven into them! I was very happy to find that one of them lent itself well to my card design. š Side note:Ā I brushed some balmy blue in the background of the girls using my one of my small blending brushes. It’s hard to see in the pictures though š
Coffee & croissants inside finishes this card off nicely.
And there you have it, easy peasy, right?
Have a wonderful day!
HAPPY STAMPING!
