Pick A Season Wall Art

Hello and Happy Valentine’s Day!!! Are ya doing anything special? We don’t, but we do get to go bowling with our horse-riding club tomorrow so that’ll be fun. We’ve had some snow here in Illinois and are supposedly getting more. The temp dropped and it’s supposed to be bitter cold all week next week :'( . You know what that means…. craft time!!!! I’ve got a real treat for you today- something out of the norm- wall art! I took several of our Sale-A-Bration items, combined them and decided to change it up a bit from cards.

I’ve had this idea in my head since I saw the Pick A Season stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Then they added the Happy Houseplants to the 2nd release of Sale-A-Bration items and it got my rear in gear! LOL! Each one of these items can be earned for FREE with a $60 order! I’m kinda smitten by these little frames that come with the Happy Houseplants kit. I just took the center plant pictures out of them and used the frames. I started by cutting 4 pieces of Basic White cardstock that measured 4×4 and stamped the tree image on them using Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves, Crumb Cake for the trunk, Old Olive for the grass at the tree base and Balmy Blue for the clouds stamping the second cloud image without reinking.

I used Poppy Parade for the hearts and 6×6 background of this one.

I used Garden Green for the clovers and 6×6 background of this one.

I used Lemon Lolly, Petal Pink, Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia & Bubble Bath for the eggs on this one and a 6×6 piece of Fresh Freesia for the background.

The roses and 6×6 background for the last one are done with Pretty in Pink. The white mats are included with the Happy Houseplants kit. I love enhancing these with the little pop of color by adding the piece of coordinating cardstock. I finished all four frames by adding one Brushed Brass Butterfly to each of them. I think they’re adorable and I can switch them out with something else easily when I tire of these.
