Have you looked at Paper Pumpkin lately? It’s changed so much and is so much better than years ago. And, starting this year (2024) Stampin’ Up is releasing quarterly die sets to match each of that quarter’s 3 sets. I received this card in a swap with my Stamping Stray Ducklings group. It was made by a new member, Lorie Werckman. Lorie used the Paper Pumpkin Add-On dies called Thanks & Beyond (link below), the Perennial Lavender paper and the Perennial Postage Dies. Check it out.
I think this card is so pretty! Lorie sure had her hands full with die-cutting, but I love the final result! Look at how she did the “thanks” die cut. She layered it with Highland Heather and offset it.
It looks really thick on the card but it’s just popped up with Stampin’ dimensionals. And here’s a close up of the butterfly.
So pretty, right? Stampin’ Up has developed these dies at a lower price point too which makes them much more enticing. You do have to be a Paper Pumpkin subscriber to get them though, but it’s easy to sign up. The kits are a surprise every month 🙂 They give us sneak peeks and a bit of info each month on what we have to look forward to (the number of items they make and whether they are cards, treat holders, or something else). And, SU makes it easy to suspend your kit. If you decide you don’t want it that month, you simply just click “suspend” on the Paper Pumpkin website and it’ll resume the following month. Easy Peasy!
Paper Pumpkin’s price is increasing a little on May 1st 2024. If you’d like to lock in the current price, you can buy a prepaid subscription before that date. They come in 1,3,6 and 12 months and you can still suspend them when you don’t want them. Plus, you’ll be able to purchase the dies every time they are released. Win! Win!
