I share my passion for stamps, ink & paper with a special flock of ladies call the Stamping Stray Ducklings. Whenever we’re together, feathers fly because of all the fun we have! Today, my feathered (or notsomuch, LOL!) friends & I are featuring Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper (DSP).
I chose to use Them Bones DSP because the paper does all the work for you. Just cut it out and stick it on!
The background, skeleton, cat & dog were all die-cut out of Them Bones DSP. The only stamping I did on the front was “Boo to you”. I stamped it in Versamark onto the Glow in the Dark DSP then used black embossing powder and melted it with my heat tool. I just cut it out by had with my snips and adhered a strip of White Glitter Organdy ribbon to the back then propped it up on mini dimensionals.
The entire background image you see above is a section of one of the pieces of Them Bones 12×12 DSP.
I stamped Happy Halloween and some bats (have I mentioned previously how much I love those adorable bats???!!! ) on a piece of Basic White. There were extra strips leftover from my background on the front, so I adhered them onto the basic white before adding the whole layer inside.
Easy Peasy, right? The DSP does all the work!
There are so many gorgeous papers in Stampin’ Up’s catalogs right now. I can honestly say that I love most of them and they’re what really caught my eye in this year’s Christmas mini catalog. You can see all of them by clicking HERE. Stay tuned for more use of them 😉
And there you have it! Please be sure to check in with the rest of my Duckling friends.
