Happy Wednesday! We’re halfway through the week and getting closer to the weekend. Yay! We had a fantastic class yesterday. I’m so grateful for my stamping friends. They are a true blessing to me and today I’m sharing one of the cards we made in class.
Now I don’t know about you, but every time I see this circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies cut out of white cardstock, I think of a paper plate. So, I just had to put a piece of pie on it! 😉 😛 You could make this card into any kind of pie you like; you’d just leave off the word “pumpkin” and color your pie to match your tastes- easy peasy! Since we’re so close to Thanksgiving, I opted to stick with the traditional. I absolutely love the Leaf Fall embossing folder too and this gave me another good reason to use it. Didja notice those cute die-cut letters? Aren’t they cute? They can be a bit tedious to glue onto a projects so to make them easy to adhere, I added one of our Adhesive Sheets to the back of my Pumpkin Pie cardstock before I cut them out. Then, all I had to do was peel the backing off and stick the die-cut onto the card front. So much less headache than trying to glue behind those tiny letters! 😮 🙂 You can check those sheets out by clicking on the picture below in my product list 😉
Another slice of pie and the sentiment finishes off the card inside. Viola!
Personally, my favorite pie is Chocolate Cream, but I don’t discriminate and the more whipped cream, the better! LOL! What’s your favorite? Leave a comment below by next Wednesday (November 20, 2024) and I’ll pick a random winner to send some embellishments to!
