Happy Fri-YAY!!! Do you have any fun plans? I have a few ladies coming over tomorrow for card class and I need to make up some card kits for an upcoming event, but that it. It’s supposed to be hot & humid so this fair-weather girl will be found in the a/c unless it’s chore time 😉 Hubby’s on a bike (motorcycle) trip so I even get the TV remote! LOL
Today’s card is another shoebox swap I made that was designed by my good friend and fellow Stamping Stray Duckling, Lynn Brinker. Can I just tell you how much I love this card?! It is so pretty!!! There’s minimal stamping. The DSP (Designer Series Paper) die-cuts and embossing folder do all the work for you and come together beautifully!
To be honest, I didn’t think I *needed* this Dotted Circle embossing folder, but after using it on this card and seeing another idea for using it with a Christmas theme (stay tuned- I’ll be showing it to you 😉 ) I am sold. It’s in my cart right now 😀 So pretty!
I did stamp a bit inside. I’m not sure I like it, but it’s there, so it’s staying. LOL
And that’s it! I need to remember to use this technique of die-cutting images out of my patterned paper more often!
