Hello there. I have a pretty card for you today that has an awesome WOW factor. Check it out
Full disclosure: this card was born because I wanted to use that gorgeous Pretty Peacock and gold ribbon. It’s so elegant!
behind the scenes
- Start with a piece of Gorgeous Grape CS that measures 5½ x 8½ and score at 4¼.
- Add a ¾ x 5¼ strip of Perennial Lavender to the edge of the back as shown so that you can see it on the front.
- Adhere 3 x 5¼ Basic White CS to the inside of the card- behind the front flap.
- Take a piece of 3 x 5¼ Perennial Lavender DSP and adhere 4″ of ribbon around it then adhere it to the front flap of your cardstock.
- Take your Labeled with Love punch and punch the center of the flap out.
- Stamp, color and die cut the big butterfly from the Sketched Butterflies bundle.
- Using multipurpose glue, add a strip to the back of the butterfly’s body only.
- Close the card front and adhere butterfly through the center of the opening.
- Using 4″ more of ribbon, tie a knot around the ribbon strip you placed earlier.
- Stamp sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink and die cut with a circle from the Unbounded Love dies
- Admire your beautiful creation! 🙂
