Hey Chuck with Nested Essentials and Sketched Plaid

Happy FriYAY!!!

Are ya ready for the weekend? I am. I have no plans. Zero. Zip. Nada. And I’m happy about that! I’m prepping to head out on a Bucket List vacation at the end of next week so I’m sure there will be a lot of prepping for it.

I have another Hey Chuck Card using the Sketched Plaid background stamp and the Nested Essentials dies. I obviously like that combination of products because you can see the previous one I did by clicking HERE.

Today’s card uses Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla for the main colors.

I started by inking up the Sketched Plaid stamp with Cherry Cobbler and stamped it onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. I tied a Black & White gingham ribbon around it then stuck it to my Cherry Cobbler Card base. I Die-cut a banner from the Nested Essentials dies and inked it up using Balmy Blue & Parakeet Party with my Blending Brushes. I stamped the rooster and the fence then colored them with my Stamping Blends. I die-cut a sun and a weather vane and assembled them to the card as shown.

I stamped one of the other roosters in the bottom corner inside to finish off the card and it’s ready to mail out!

Easy Peasy, right?
