Good morning and Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend! We were home all weekend. I prepped for my upcoming class while hubby worked on odds and ends around here. We put up some hay and did some canning too. If there’s ever an apocalypse, we could live off of pickles at Baker’s Acres! 😮
I have a cute card for you today that’s very simple to make. Check it out.
Adorable & Easy! Here are the details: Cut any size square so long as it fits on the front of the card. My square is approximately 2 7⁄8 x 2 7⁄8. Temporarily stick the square to the front of a piece of 4×5½” white cardstock, then glue ¼” strips of colored cardstock around it. Snip the strips off from the backside. Then start paper piecing your choice of patterned paper between the strips. Decorate your square as you wish then pop it up on dimensionals in the center. Add ribbon or embellishments. Et Viola! Done! This design works great for those bigger scraps of Designer Series Paper (DSP) you have laying around 🙂
Another stamp on the inside and it’s finished. Easy Peasy, right?
I think the next time I make one of these, I’ll use 2 different patterns of paper. Stay tuned for that!
