Soooo, when your almost lifelong friend has a milestone birthday, what do you do?
Well, if you’re a cardmaker, you make her an extra special card!
I’m calling this an Extended Cube card. It’s HUGE. So huge, in fact, that I had to make a special envelope for it and barely got that done because I really needed bigger paper! LOL Now, I can’t take full credit for this card. It was a CASE from Nancy Legate. I used the same pack of paper, stamp set and colors that she did. Everything except the cardstock on this card is retired. I just really wanted to try it after seeing Nancy’s!

It folds flat too!
And here’s my beautiful friend, Jo Ann. She turned 65 years young on Wednesday.
And, if you’re still reading this and interested in the backstory of Jo Ann & my friendship, stick around š
I’ve always been horse crazy. It started when I was old enough to know what a horse was. We lived in a neighborhood that was in the country, but my parents couldn’t afford horses. When I was 14, I was riding my bicycle looking for horses to pet. Along came Jo Ann riding her beautiful gray horse, Colleen. Jo Ann let me pet Colleen and let my best friend, Mindy, and I hang out at her place with all the animals whenever we could. She was very good to us. We’ve stayed in touch all of these years and have even ridden together now that I have horses too!
It’s pretty awesome to have friends that you don’t talk to for a while but can pick up like no time has passed. Wouldn’t you agree?
HAPPY STAMPING!
