Boughs of Holly Portrait Diagonal Split Card with Template

Hello Stampers! Welcome to a new week! I spent the weekend in Indianapolis at Stampin Up!’s OnStage. OnStage is an event for Demonstrators where we get to connect, interact, swap and see the latest upcoming catalog(s). We had so much fun! For my card today, I have 2 techniques for you- the Diagonal Split Card and Stamping Before Embossing. Take a look-see:

I stamped “Merry Christmas” in Evening Evergreen ink before I ran the white cardstock through the Wintry embossing folder. I love the effect it gives the card. I used the sentiments from the Brightest Glow stamp set. The poinsettia is fussy cut from the Boughs of Holly DSP and the die cut leaves are from the Fitting Floret dies.

I just love the elegant simplicity of this card. I hope you do too!
