4 Cards Using Sketch #7 from page 22 of the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog

Hello and welcome to a brand new week. Can you believe it’s December already? Where does time go? We had a great weekend, but it certainly went by fast! Christmas is upon us and I got to spend some time playing with Sketch #7 on page 22 of our 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.

I also spent time using my Christmas Friends bundle and my Yuletide Village stamp set that hadn’t even been out of the package yet 😮 I always think I have all this time and then it’s gone. Do you ever do that? It’s a really bad habit of mine. Moral of this long-winded story, I have 4 cards for you today! 😉 Check them out.

I cut 4×5¼” DSP layers out of the Take a Bow and Season of Elegance papers and adhered them to Real Red and Shaded Spruce card bases. I then die cut one Basic White Banner and 3 Balmy Blue Banners from the Nested Essentials dies and ran the blue ones through my Cut & Emboss machine using the Snowflake Sky embossing folder. I stamped the church from the Yuletide Village on the white banner and the critters from the Christmas friends on scraps of Basic White and colored them all with my Stampin’ Blends (all colors used are listed in the products below.) I die cut the critters with their matching dies and adhered them to the blue embossed banners. I then popped the banners up on dimensionals and adhered them to the DSP layers. I die cut sprays out of Shaded Spruce and glued them to the top of each banner. I tied bows using the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler and Gold ribbon and added them to the center of each sprig. I added the sentiments to the inside of the card on a piece of Basic white and the cards were done. Lickety Split! Here are close-ups of each.

So. Much. Fun! I love how the card sketches motivate me to get stamping. From there, it just snowballs and I can’t stop. I hope you use these sketches to get motivated to do some crafting too!
