Well, hello there. Today is the first of several swaps I’m going to share from our Stamping Stray Ducklings Sympathy Card swap. Sympathy cards are hard y’all. I struggle with making them, so this swap made it nice to keep several on-hand. And, since all of the cards are designed by my Stampin’ Sisters- the Stamping Stray Ducklings, they are amazing! I’m very blessed to be a part of this group. This is the swap card I made.
I started by folding a Wild Wheat card base in half. I embossed a piece of Basic White using my Layered Florals 3D embossing folder and added a Thoughtful Expressions die cut from a Softly Stippled piece of DSP. I added a bit of Wild Wheat Ribbon, stamped a greeting from Hope You Know onto another Thoughtful Expressions die-cut, popped it up with dimensionals and the front of my card was finished.
This beautiful sentiment inside is also from the Hope You Know stamp set. I love it when we have really nice words to stamp for the insides of our cards.
