Shimmery Petal Park Basic Borders Card

I have a gorgeous card for you today. It’s made with our Shimmery White Cardstock. Honestly, I just don’t use Shimmery White enough. I forget about it because it’s way up high in my “Special Inventory” stack. I need to start putting it with my Basic White CS so that I remember to use it. It’s so elegant. Pictures don’t do it justice but maybe you can see the twinkle in this one…??? LOL

We made this card in class this week. It’s by far, my favorite one from class. I love the simple elegance of it.

And, did ya see that sentiment? Soo funny and unfortunately so needed when I’m sending cards 😳 Another thing I forget to do is to stamp color on colored cardstock. I just love everything about this card and the way it turned out. I used the colors on the Dandy Designs paper to guide my color choices with the flowers and sentiment. Elegant indeed. I topped it off with one of our adorable dragonfly trinkets and a couple of iridescent pearls and it was done.

So what do ya think? I think I’m going to have to make more of these with different colored paper 😉
