I share my passion for stamps, ink & paper with a special flock of ladies called the “Stampin’ Stray Ducklings”. Whenever we’re together, feathers fly because of all the fun we have! Today, my feathered (or notsomuch! LOL) friends & I are featuring the sketches on page 22 of the Annual Catalog using a Fall or Halloween Theme.
22 Sketches on Page 22. Easy to remember, right? 😉
I chose the bottom center sketch above.
Do you ever see a pack of paper and just fall in love with one of the designs? This design was it for me. This is the one that encouraged me to buy the whole pack of Splended Autumn DSP! 😮 I am NOT an artist, and I struggle to see what others see in true art, but I see the beauty in this design, and I love it! The strips are 1½ x 4. I took one piece of 4 x 4½ paper and cut it on the long side into 1½” strips. The circle is from the Everyday Details dies. I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White in Cajun Craze ink. I used my snips to cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals before adhering it to the circle.
The leaves were die cut from the DSP as well.
I used Basic Beige for the inside layer of my card. I’m really diggin’ using this new color as a lighter and softer option for the inside layer of my cards. I stamped the wheat looking pieces in Wild Wheat ink first in full strength then I stamped again without reinking for a lighter image.
That’s it for me. Please waddle around and see what beautiful creations the rest of my Duckling friends have made.
