Hello there! The We Bee Stamping Team is excited to bring you more inspiration through our monthly Blog Hop. This month we’re featuring Giving Thanks. I have made another Cornered Gate Fold Card for you today like the one HERE from Wednesday.
I used the Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper and the Autumn Expressions bundle. I love the gorgeous fonts in the stamp set and the pretty dies that come with the bundle.
If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know that fun folds are my favorite kind of card and easy fun folds really take the cake! What’s even better is that this fun fold shows both sides of our gorgeous paper.
To start, simply take a 5¼x 12″ piece of patterned paper that you like both sides. Score it at 2, 4, 8 & 10″. Then fold each corner back to the score line closest to it and glue it down.
Put adhesive on the 4×5¼” section on the back and adhere it to a piece of 4¼ x 5½ cardstock. I used Crushed Curry here.
Make any decoration you’d like for the front and be sure to ONLY ADHERE TO THE LEFT FLAP. Otherwise, you won’t be able to open your card 😮 😉 I used our Gold Foil, Cajun Craze CS, Crushed Curry CS and Old Olive CS along with the Autumn Expressions Dies. I just love the leaf die-cuts in this set!
The sentiment die-cut is from Greetings of the Season Dies, stamped using Copper Clay and tied with a piece of our gold trim.
A 3¾ x 5″ piece of Basic White was stamped and placed inside then I added some faux glass dots to finish the card.
And as a reminder, you can find a Christmas version of this card HERE.
