Hello there and welcome to a brand new week! Today I’m sharing a “Comfort” card with you. I got asked to make a sympathy card for class. Sympathy cards are hard, y’all! I love making fun, bright happy cards- Sympathy, notsomuch! The Hope You Know stamp set has so many awesome sentiments that it was perfect for this card.
I opted for a subtle, quiet scene by just using the rug and the rocker for the front. The rug is embossed using the Cane Weave embossing folder and the Boho Blue layer was embossed using the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder. I love the Wavy trim, it just gives added elegance to any card, imho 😉
Isn’t that saying amazing? It would work for so many different things. I was really surprised at what a big hit this card was at class. People need comfort cards, whether it’s illness, sympathy or life events. I need to try harder to make more of them!
