Hello there! The We Bee Stamping Team is excited to bring you more inspiration through our monthly Blog Hop. This month we’re Sale-A-Brating and showing off the new July-December Mini Catalog. I used my favorite suite from the new catalog, Storybook Gnomes. My card is not your typical A2 card. It is a 5½ x 5½ square Joy Fold card.
The star of this show is the Storybook Gnomes DSP (Designer Series Paper). All the images I used are in the paper and you just die-cut them out – Easy Peasy, right? I love how Stampin’ Up! products set us up for success in our papercrafting!
As I mentioned above this card is a fun-fold called a “Joy-Fold.” A “Joy-Fold” card is just a smaller card within another card that overlaps a flap of the bigger card. Sounds complicated, but it’s not 🙂
Check out how I held the small card closed using photo corners; they are die-cuts from the Fabulous Frames dies. There are designs embossed right on them too. Super cute, right?!
The smaller card is 3″x6″ scored at 3″ on the 6″ side.
