Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays. I’m back from my week-long hiatus. Hubby & I made a quick trip to Vegas. We left Christmas night and returned on Thursday to prep for our New Years Eve fun night that we host with our friends every year. We play lots of games, eat and have a couple of drinks. It’s kind of fun to see who actually makes it up to watch the ball drop, LOL! Several of them like to cheat and watch the New York ball drop so they can go to bed an hour earlier. We’re such a party crowd! LOL
Onto our card. 🙂 The We Bee Stamping Team is excited to bring you more inspiration through our monthly Blog Hop. This month we’re celebrating Sale-A-Bration. We made this card in class last month using the new Beautifully Happy stamp set that will be available during Sale-A-Bration starting January 5, 2023. This card was a huge hit at class 🙂 The stamp set is what we call “disINKtive” which means it does the shading for you. All we did was stamp the outline image in Smoky Slate then stamp the insides of the flower and leaves using Fresh Freesia, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz. The different shading you see is all from stamping one time. Cool huh? The little dots were stamped in Balmy Blue. And did ya see it…..the other upcoming, fun item on the front of the card?Â
The Dragonfly Embellishment!!! So cute!!!!
And, I added some Wink of Stella for that shimmer 😉
I stamped the bee and the dots again inside. The bee and the stem of the flower were colored using watercolor pencils.
So, what do ya think? C’mon you know you have to have it, right? Starting January 5th, you can earn it FREE with your $100 order! Yep, all of January and February, you can earn items FREE with qualifying orders. It’s the best time of the year to order from Stampin’ Up!
Please buzz along to my other friend’s blogs to see more SAB items.
