Hello friends! I’ve got a real treat (vs a trick š ) for you today. I made a video tutorial to go along with today’s card š»š¦š I’ve seen these Rocker Cards around for a while now, but never made one until my most recent Mystery Stamping with my friend, Nancy Legate. Y’all, these things are ADDICTING! They go together so quickly AND BONUS, they are a fun fold!!! Whoop! Whoop! I have a Halloween one for you today but stay tuned because my next one for the Stamping Stray Duckling’s Blog Waddle is the same fold in a Christmas theme.šDid I mention they were addicting?! LOL
I started by die cutting using the Deckled Circle Dies -counting from the outside-in, the 2nd Largest (5ā ”) in Basic Black CS folded in half, the 4th Largest (4ā ”) in Halloween Spells DSP cut in half and the 7th Largest (3Ā½”) in Lemon Lolly CS on which I stamped “Boo!”. I then stamped the flying ghost in Memento Black ink, colored him with Stampin’ Blends and adhered him onto my makeshift moon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I used another 4th largest Deckled Circle die (cut in half) for the white piece inside. I stamped a couple of bats and the sentiment and the inside was finished.
The biggest tip for this card is to lay it on top of your envelope BEFORE you place your focal image circle. You don’t want the circle to be taller than the envelope or else it won’t fit for mailing. š
And as promised, here’s the video tutorial:
That’s it for today! Please be sure to check the next blog post for another fun and easy Rocker Card.
