Hello there crafty friends! Today I want to show you an adorable card that doesn’t take long to make but is ADORABLE! It’s another beauty from my Stamping Stray Duckling retreat. This one was designed by my good friend, Lynn Brinker. Lynn gave us 3 different choices from the Attention Shoppers Stamp set of what to make (I wish I would’ve taken pictures of all 3). I chose the birthday cake. You can make one easily too! Just grab cardstock, an embossing folder, a birthday cake stamp, a strip of pretty paper some markers, a couple of dies & twine. Super easy and super cute!
I love everything about this card and to be honest, I was not a fan of the Full of Life DSP- until I started using snippets of it here & there. You can see a beautiful hummingbird card that I made with it by CLICKING HERE.
You see, I’ve never been a fan of watercolor-until recently. Stampin’ Up’s papers have shown me the beauty in it. I’ve learned to love the variation in the colors, the depth and the eye appeal. I used to view it as “messy” because it wasn’t solid/one consistent color all the way across. Now I see how much it brings everything to life.
