Howdy Friends! I hope this post finds you all doing well and getting some crafting time in! It’s been blazing hot here in Illinois. Our heat index got up to 115° yesterday! 😮 This fair-weather girl was not liking it at all! I’d like to say I’ve been in the craft room, but only for a wee bit. I’ve had errands to run and trying to keep the horses cool by hosing them down. Thankfully storms came through last night and cooled things down. It’s still humid, but much better.
Aaaaanyhow, I have a fun card for you today. Check it out.
I took a piece of Thick White Cardstock, die-cut half a circle out of the front with one of my Spotlight on Nature dies, then used my Layering leaves stamps to stamp intermittently around the circle and inside using Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Beige ink. Then I splattered the Cardstock using my Berry Burst Stampin’ Write Marker by flicking the tip inside the cap. I die cut two strips of flowers from the Flowers of Beauty dies- one small, one large and glued them intermittently around the circle. These dies are a must-have for every stampers craft room. Each die cuts 8 flowers at a time! Easy peasy and time-saving too!
I stamped “Thinking of You” on the right side of a strip of Basic White and layered Petunia Pop behind it then glued it behind the front flap so the sentiment was showing in the circle.
Leaves and splatter finish the card off inside and that’s it! Be sure to follow my blog for more ideas and tips. Just leave me a comment below and check the box that says “Notify me of new posts by email”. Viola! My blog posts will be easy to find because they’ll come directly to your email! Easy peasy!
