Woohoo, it’s FriYAY!!! Well, at the time I’m writing this anyway 😉 I think it’ll be a laid-back weekend. It’s supposed to rain, so it’ll be a great time to stamp 🙂 Speaking of stamping, check out this adorable card made by Lynn Brinker from Peoria, IL.
Lynn is one of my Stamping Stray Duckling sisters and I received this card as part of a swap. There are so many fun elements to this card. First off, Lynn made her own Designer Series Paper (DSP) by stamping the images from the Petal Park stamp set on white cardstock. I’m just guessing here but I’ll bet she stamped a full 8½ x 11 sheet and then cut it into the sizes she needed so she could get 4 card fronts and a strip for inside (see below). How smart, right?! 🙂
Lynn heat embossed Happy Birthday using our Biggest Wish stamp set using black cardstock and white embossing powder. She then fussy (hand) cut it out. I love the striking look of this!
Lynn then stamped a flower onto Fresh Freesia and punched it out using the Petal Park Builder punch. She added a purple glossy dot and Wink of Stella (sorry, I know I didn’t capture it in the photo) on the flower to finish off the front of the card.
And here’s the leftover DSP from the front of her card. Smart, eh?
You can get the Petal Park Stamp Set & Punch as part of a bundle (saving 10%) through May 1st, 2023. They will be available in the new catalog, but you’ll have to buy them separately.
I hope you enjoyed Lynn’s card today.
Have a wonderful weekend!
“See” you on Monday 🙂
HAPPY STAMPING!
