Hello there! Today I have a Book Fold Shaker card for you. Take a look:
I started by stamping the confetti using Berry Burst ink all over the front of a Berry Burst 4¼x11 card base that was scored at 4 and 5½. I made the twine ribbon by tying my twine around an acrylic block. Then I cut it off from the back of the block and attached it to my card as shown using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
I made the shaker using two 3×3 pieces of the Bright & Beautiful DSP. I die cut a balloon out of the top piece, adding a square of 3×3 Gold Celebrations Specialty DSP (acetate) over the balloon cut-out then added some foam strips on the acetate. The top piece was filled with sequins and frosted dots then I adhered the 2nd piece of DSP to the back. The whole shaker piece was glued to my card front using Tombow Multipurpose glue. Since the Bright & Beautiful DSP is 6×6, I can get four 3×3 pieces out of them 😉
A little confetti and a balloon finishes off the inside of the card 🙂
