Hello there! The We Bee Stamping Team is excited to bring you more inspiration through our monthly Blog Hop. This month we’re featuring masterful masking from pages 124-125 of the Annual Catalog.
I used the Fields in Bloom Stamp set. I masked the flowers so that I could add a sky above them.
I stamped my image on the Designer tags die cut then stamped it on a piece of masking paper. I cut the masking paper along the tops of the flowers and stuck it on top of the flowers on my tag, then inked up the top of the tag using my Blending Brush and Boho Blue ink.
When I had the depth of color I wanted, I peeled back the mask and Et Viola! Pretty sky!
After I use my masks, I stick them inside the stamp case to use again later.
I added the tag to a piece of Flowering Zinnia DSP, threaded some Peach Pie Ribbon through the ends of the tag and tucked them behind the DSP before adhering it to the Granny Apple Green card base.
I stamped, die cut and popped some clouds onto dimensionals and added them to the front of my card. I also used the Wanted to Say dies for the Happy Birthday sentiment and use dimensionals behind it as well. I added some resin dots to finish off the front of my card.
I stamped a small image inside the card and it was finished.
